Switchfoot will be in Kansas City on September 21, 2013 at the Midland Theater. This is the beginning of their Fading West Tour. They just released their brand new album, Fading West, and also made a movie that will showing at their show on Saturday. Tickets are still available for this amazing show. The Major League Soccer season is winding down and that means teams are making a last push for a playoff spot. Sporting KC find themselves in a three way tie for first in the Eastern Conference. Sporting lost Roger Espinoza to the English Premier league, added some important pieces to the midfield and forward positions, and now have loaned Kei Kamara to Norwich City in the English Premier League as well. Going into preseason Sporting are looking to build upon a great season last year, finishing first place in the Eastern Conference regular season, but falling early on in the playoffs to the Houston Dynamo in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Sporting played its first preseason game against FC Tuson in Arizona and held on to a 1-1 draw. Here are the highlights. Sporting is looking to begin a great season starting on March 2nd against the Philadelphia Union. The first home match of the season will be on March 16th at Sporting Park. Get your tickets now!
